How to use PDF Editor

  1. Open or create

    Drop a PDF on the page, or start from a blank page or a ready layout (worksheet, planner, certificate…).

  2. Edit on the page

    Add text, pictures, shapes, tables and QR codes. Cover old text with a whiteout box and type over it.

  3. Sign it

    Open the Sign tab, draw your signature once and place it on any page.

  4. Download a real PDF

    Download the PDF, or send it to your phone. Your work is saved in this browser so you can reopen it later.

Frequently asked questions

Is the PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Editing and exporting run in your browser. Your files and documents are never sent anywhere.
Where are my documents saved?
Only in this browser on your device (IndexedDB). There is no account. If you clear your browser data they are deleted, so use Export project to keep a backup file and Import project to open it on another computer.
Can I change the original text inside a PDF?
The editor lays new content over the original pages: cover the old text with a whiteout box and type the new text on top. It does not rewrite the text inside the PDF.
How do I sign a PDF?
Open the PDF, choose the Sign tab and draw your signature with the mouse, a finger or a pen. It is kept in this browser so you can add it to any page.
Is there a watermark or a page limit?
No watermark. A document can have up to 60 pages; a PDF you open can be up to 20 MB.
Can I make a PDF from scratch?
Yes. Start from a blank page or a layout such as a worksheet, weekly planner, to-do list, lined paper, certificate, timetable or name tags, and edit everything.
