What does trim image do?
It finds the smallest rectangle that holds all the content and removes the empty border around it, so the subject fills the picture.
Can it trim a transparent PNG?
Yes. Auto detects transparent corners and removes the transparent margin. The result keeps its transparency in PNG or WEBP.
My white background has slight noise. What now?
Raise Tolerance a little. A JPG with compression noise usually needs 10% to 20%.
Does it change image quality?
Pixels inside the crop are not changed. PNG is lossless; JPG and WEBP are saved again at high quality.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser and the images stay on your device.
