Use Your Phone as a Webcam
Stream your phone camera to this computer’s browser with a QR code — snapshot, record and watch full screen. No app, no upload.
Processed on your device · no uploadThe picture goes straight from your phone to this page
Press Connect phone, scan the QR code and allow the camera on the phone. Video and sound travel directly between the two devices; nothing is uploaded or stored by TabShed. This works in the browser — it is not a system webcam for Zoom or Teams.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use my phone as a webcam for Zoom, Teams or OBS?
Not directly. This tool works inside the browser: it shows your phone camera on a web page, which you can watch, record or screen-capture. It is not a virtual camera driver, so apps like Zoom or Teams will not list it as a camera. To use it in OBS you can capture this browser window.
What is it good for?
Quickly viewing your phone camera on a big screen, using an old phone as a baby or pet monitor, checking a shot, or recording a clip straight to your computer without cables or apps.
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. Video and sound travel directly from the phone to the computer over a WebRTC connection. TabShed only relays a small connection handshake, never the picture. Snapshots and recordings are saved on your computer.
Why can’t the phone connect?
There is no relay server, so the phone and computer must reach each other directly. Put both on the same Wi-Fi, turn off any VPN, avoid guest or hotel Wi-Fi (it often blocks devices from talking to each other) and, if nothing works, join the computer to your phone’s hotspot.
Does it work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. Open the link in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android and allow the camera. Torch control only works on phones and browsers that expose it, mostly Chrome on Android.
Can I record with sound?
Yes. Tick the microphone option on the phone, then turn Sound on at the computer to listen and press Record. Sound is off on the computer by default to avoid echo.
